Building an authentic flat boat replica

Friends of Big Bone joined in with several organizations to build an authentic flat boat replica. This boat was docked with the Corps of Discovery and later used for an educational display for school children visiting the site. This flatboat now is on display at Jane’s Saddlebag next to Big Bone Dock.
